Copper "Sautoir" with lid The Sautoir has a lower rim than the Fait-tout, and is especially useful for frying and stewing vegetables, meat or fish. The small Sautoir is wonderful for serving but the ambitioned cook will use the 22 cm or 24 cm diameter Sautoir. Sautoir: Copper 2 mm (tinned) Lid: Copper 1 mm (tinned)
